BERZEKER is a band loaded with full energy and power. With fast riffs and brutal vocals they show an excellent fusion between Thrash and Death Metal. The band started in mid of 2004 in the city of Cali, Colombia; with short aged members, Berzeker started their musical carrier playing in small town bars. But few months later, they became recognized by the local and national metal scene because of their first recorded EP titled "Architecture Of Death", launched in 2004. Later, the experience gained on national tours forced Berzeker to enter the studio recording their first full length album titled "Aggressor".
On December of 2006, the band looked for professional support to record their first album, finding Engineer Carlos Giraldo at Atom Studios. Within this process, two of the band members left the project but, were replaced immediately. On March of 2007, the first album was completed. It was a nine-track album titled “Aggressor” that shows the violence of Thrash Metal and the technique of Death Metal. This album was launched with Dead Skunk Records ® label, hitting the first positions at the local cities. The band got excellent recognition from the national metal heads that supported the band to make some other gigs around the country.
During the summer of 2007, Berzeker wanted to upgrade to a higher level by producing a musical video of the 6th track form the “Aggressor” album titled “Bleeding to Death”. This video was recognized as one of the most viewed by many continental programs of South America, along with another extra video called "Bleeding Behind The Scenes" which shows the recording sessions of the video.
On June 2008, the known world-wide agency Stormblaze Entertainment signed with the band, upgrading their musical carrier to a higher level, rebuilding the band's future. Within this process, Berzeker did tons of national and international performances along many international bands, being one of the youngest and talent band in South America. On December of 2008, the band stopped touring to enter to studio again. They recorded their second album titled "Penitentiary", making another documentary about these recording sessions. This video was called "Inside the studio Bars". This new production was first launched in many European Radio shows by April 2009 hitting the international music scene. South America is getting prepared to receive Penitentiary.
Now days, Berzeker is working hard, touring around South American countries, making a promotional gig of the new album. This will last until December, when the band gets in studio again to record their third CD. This album will be full of brutal music, new surprises and special guests, and they will work by the hand of recognized producer German Villacorta (Ozzy Osborune, The Rolling Stones, Zakk Wylde, etc.). By may 2010, Berzeker will start their "South American Extradition Tour", crossing through 7 countries in Latin-America. So...
